The Grand Highland Hotel is a 1903 boutique hotel and wedding venue on historic Whiskey Row in downtown Prescott, Arizona, at 154 S Montezuma St. Couples hold the ceremony in our private open-air Courtyard, for up to 300 guests, and the reception in our historic brick Ballroom, for up to 150, with 12 themed guest rooms upstairs for family and friends. How much does a wedding at The Grand Highland Hotel cost?

 

Wedding packages start at $3,900 for off-peak and weekday dates and $4,900 for peak season. Every package includes the Courtyard and Ballroom, tables, chairs and ivory linens with setup, venue access from 11:00 AM, and a night in the King Honeymoon Suite. Request pricing and we will send the details for your date.

 

How many guests can you host?

 

Up to 300 guests in the Courtyard and up to 150 in the Ballroom. We also host small and intimate weddings, including weekday celebrations.

 

When is peak wedding season in Prescott?

 

April, May, September and October are our peak months. January through March is off-peak, and Sunday through Thursday dates are priced lower all year.

 

Can we bring our own caterer?

 

Yes. Bring any caterer or food truck you love. There is no rigid preferred vendor list. Our licensed bar and bartenders serve every event.

 

Can we bring our own alcohol?

 

Outside alcohol isn't permitted. Our full-service bar offers cash, hosted and hybrid options.

 

How far is the venue from Phoenix?

 

Under two hours by car from the Phoenix area. Many of our couples come up from the Valley for Prescott's cooler mountain weather and the walkable downtown around Whiskey Row.

 

Where can our guests stay?

 

The hotel has 12 themed guest rooms upstairs, and you can buy out the whole hotel for the night or the weekend. Guest rooms are reached by stairs only. The Motor Lodge and Prescott Pines Inn, our sister hotels, may also have rooms available for additional guests.

 

Where do guests park?

 

In the free city parking garage at 135 S Granite St, directly behind the hotel, plus free street parking downtown.

 

Are the event spaces accessible?

 

Yes. The Courtyard and Ballroom have no steps.

 

When can we get into the venue?

 

Venue access starts at 11:00 AM on your wedding day, with next-day decor pickup from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.

 

How far in advance should we book?

 

Most couples book 6 to 12 months ahead, and peak-season Saturdays go first. Request pricing to check your date.
