  • What are the Ballroom and Courtyard amenities?
    Set up of tables/chairs and cleaning; 72" round tables with Ivory linens for round tables; Natural wood chiavari chairs for Ballroom; Banquet and pub tables with black spandex linens; Ceremony chairs for Courtyard; Indoor & outdoor ice chests; indoor and outdoor bars; PA/sound system; Outdoor heaters and pop-up canopies; privacy screens and gate security; yard games.
  • Can we bring in outside alcohol?
    The Grand Highland Hotel has its own liquor license which requires alcohol be bought directly from the venue. We provider the bartender(s) and offer competitive liquor packages for different budgets.
  • Can we choose our own caterer & vendors?
    Yes. We provide a Preferred Vendor list as a courtesy or you may bring in your own.
  • Can I have an Exclusive Event with the hotel rooms?
    Yes. Any number of rooms can be added to your reservation. (Room charges are additional). You assign the rooms to your guests. (You may reassign a room should a guest cancel). As a part of your exclusive event, room charges may be deferred to be paid upon check in with a guest a guest pay option.
  • What are the event end times?
    Event end time is 10:00 pm with music turned down at 9:30 pm to meet the City of Prescott Noise Ordinance.
  • What are the rental terms?
    A signed Rental Agreement is required with deposit. Number of payments based on amount of time prior to event. Initial payment of 50%of total invoice due at reservation confirmation; remaining 50%total due 60 days after first payment.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    As a small property with weddings and events booking over a year out, our cancellation policy is strict. 50% of total reservation invoices are due up to 270 days and 100%is due after 270 days prior to event. Any changes to original reservation will incur a change fee and be subject to current rates if applicable.
  • Am I required to have insurance?
    Yes, special event general liability insurance is required and covers the Lessee for general liability. 1 million per incident and 2 million aggregate with a certificate of insurance naming the Grand Highland Hotel as additional insured is required.   • Can I bring in my own Alcohol?

  • How does your liquor pricing work?
    All our pricing is listed on the price list. However, it is your choice to exclude or include any items. We are here to help you customize for your special day.
  • What if I have a budget? Can I do a partial host bar and then switch to a cash bar?
    For those on a budget, we recommend doing a ticketed event for 1-2 free drinks for guests. Once those tickets are used, guests can then pay for their own drinks as a cash bar.
  • How will I be charged for liquor on a hosted bar?
    We will take a deposit for $1,000 for the liquor approximately 30 days before your event. At the end of your event, we will apply that deposit to your final bill plus a 15% gratuity.
  • Do I need to pay a deposit if I am doing a cash bar?
    No, we do not take deposits for a cash bar as guests will pay for their own drinks and gratuity.
  • How many bartenders will I need?
    We recommend 1 bartender for every 50 guests
